The Chinese bianzhong

The Chinese bianzhong (中國編鐘) is an ancient percussion instrument composed of a set of many differently-sized bronze bells, usually hung together to form a chime. These bells were cast from bronze by skilled craftsmen in ancient China and are considered to be among the most technically and artistically valuable bronzeware in ancient China. The Chinese bianzhong has been widely used in musical performances and cultural events, and holds significant historical and cultural significance.
